Navdeep’s career gains momentum

Navdeep, after a slow start to his career, is now picking up steam.

To be sure, he still has a long way to go before he can be classified as a bankable star. The thing is he is showing enough promise to confirm he is on the right track.

The young man, with sultry good looks that can send an teenybopper go weak on her knees, has started the year with plenty of promise.

His Gowtham SSC, though not a big hit, was certainly not a failure.

Then his Tamil movie Arindhum Ariyamalum (in which he plays the son of Prakash Raj) has been dubbed in Telugu as Kalisunte and released this week. The movie has an interesting plot and provides good entertainment.

Meanwhile, his movie for Sravanthi Ravikishore, in which he is paired with Poonam (yes, the same girl who played his heroine in Modati Cinema), has been named Premante Inte.

Directed by Ramana (the man who directed Gowri), the movie has music by Chakri.

The film is almost complete with just a song left to be canned.

The film may release in March.
